Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Bello & Bel is a partnership based in Montreal, Quebec. This page explains, in plain terms, what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It follows Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

Person in charge of personal information

Bello, Helbert, B.Sc. Computer Science
Co-founder, Bello & Bel
Email: hello [at] bellobel.com

Write to this address for any question, request or complaint about your personal information.

What we collect

When you take one of our assessments, you give us:

Like most websites, our hosting server keeps technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and to keep the site running.

Why we collect it

We collect only what we need for these purposes. By submitting an assessment, you consent to these uses. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Who sees it

Only the partners of Bello & Bel. We never sell, rent or share your information with anyone for their own use.

Our website and email are hosted by a service provider whose servers may be located outside Quebec, including in the United States. We check that this provider protects your information adequately before using it.

When you book a meeting with us, the booking is handled by Cal.com, a scheduling service whose servers may also be located outside Quebec. It receives only what you enter to book: your name, email and the time you choose.

Cookies and tracking

We use measurement and advertising tools from Google and Meta only if you accept them in the banner. Until you choose, they stay off.

These tools do not receive your answers, your name or your email. Google and Meta may process data on servers outside Quebec, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes above, and no longer than 3 years after our last contact with you. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to your information is limited to the partners, with password-protected accounts. If an incident creates a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Write to the person in charge above. We reply within 30 days, at no cost. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
